Requests for Proposals
Grants Process
MACF will issue Requests for Proposals in June from any qualified charitable organizations. Proposals are due July 9, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. A grants review meeting will be held for all WIP members. Proposals will be compiled into a voter's pamphlet and submitted to members for a vote. Ballots are mailed to all WIP members. The agency who receives the most votes will receive a grant of at least $20,000. Grants will be awarded at a special WIP event in October.
How to Apply
MACF accepts RFP's through an online, internet-based grant application process. Please note that MACF does not accept paper grant applications. If you have questions after reading our Online Application Directions and Frequently Asked Questions, please contact the Foundation at 276-656-6223.
- First, you must read the Online Application Directions.
- Second, print the Nonprofit Financial Analysis form and the Program Budget form that will need to be completed in Word and loaded as attachments to your online application.

How to Access an In-progress/Saved online grant application:
When you create your account you will receive an automatic email with your tracking number and a link to the log-in page of your online application form. You may use that link to log-in or click here to access your saved application.
