RFP Women In Philanthropy
Women In Philanthropy (WIP) is an initiative of Martinsville Area Community Foundation. It is a member-driven group of women that will pool resources together to make large-impact grants to local non-profit organizations.
Grants Process
MACF will issue Requests for Proposals in June from any qualified charitable organizations. Proposals are due in July. A grants review meeting will be held for all WIP members. Proposals will be compiled into a voter's pamphlet and submitted to members for a vote. Ballots are mailed to all WIP members. The agency who receives the most votes will receive a grant of at least $20,000. Grants will be awarded at a special WIP event in September.
How to Apply
MACF accepts RFP's through an online, internet-based grant application process. Proposals will not be accepted before June 15, 2011 and must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!
